Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Copenhagen)

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with extensive knowledge in Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and observability to enhance our Platform Engineering team. This position involves maintaining critical components of our internal platform and contributing to its modernization and optimization for future growth.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in Site Reliability, Platform, or DevOps Engineering roles.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, including storage solutions like Rook-Ceph.
• Strong Linux fundamentals.
• Proactive approach to identifying potential issues before they escalate.
• Excellent communication skills to convey infrastructure decisions to non-technical engineers.

Responsibilities

• Engage in daily operations of the existing technology stack.
• Participate in the design and evolution of the next-generation infrastructure.
• Establish and uphold reliability standards, runbooks, and best practices across the platform.
• Work collaboratively with Development and Operations teams to preemptively address bottlenecks.
• Advocate for automation to streamline repetitive tasks.

Skills

• Experience with the Grafana LGTM stack (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Alloy) is a plus.
• Familiarity with managing ProxMox or similar virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of GitOps tools like Argo CD or Flux is advantageous.
• Experience with Nginx ingress, ISTIO, or similar proxy setups is beneficial.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
