Senior Simulation Engineer

Job summary

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in simulations using the finite element method in an industrial R&D setting.
• Proven track record in creating, calibrating, and validating polymer material models across various polymer systems.
• Master of Science in Engineering or Natural Sciences with a focus on numerical analysis of complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of structural simulations and experience with commonly used finite element software.
• Understanding of product development processes and ability to influence technical decisions.
• Experience in interdisciplinary teamwork, stakeholder management, and mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural simulation activities to provide actionable insights into key parameters and interactions.
• Conduct both simple and advanced parameter analyses to support critical design decisions across multiple projects.
• Translate simulation results into clear, data-driven design recommendations.
• Develop internal methods, processes, and best practices in Virtual Modeling and Mechanical Engineering.
• Serve as a technical role model, enhancing expertise in polymer behavior and sharing knowledge across teams.
