Job summary

This role involves supporting applied research in enzyme and probiotic mechanisms within animal feed. The position is integral to a collaborative team focused on developing biosolutions that enhance the lives of farmers and pet owners.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education as a biotechnician, laboratory technician, bachelor in laboratory science, or bioanalyst.
  • Hands-on experience with tissue culture and assay development, including independent planning and execution of experiments.
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques such as ELISA, RT-qPCR, flow cytometry, and microbiology.
  • Strong IT skills and experience with laboratory software and data analysis platforms.
  • Professional proficiency in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct tissue culture work to support functional assays while maintaining laboratory standards.
  • Apply microbiology techniques to investigate biological mechanisms.
  • Develop and optimize functional and analytical assays.
  • Plan, execute, and troubleshoot experiments to ensure high-quality data.
  • Conduct various assays as part of a broader analytical toolbox.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing research activities.

Skills

  • Ability to independently plan experiments and propose improvements to workflows.
  • Flexibility to balance assay development with routine tasks.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a scientific field related to laboratory work.
