Senior Project Manager (Offshore Wind)

Job summary

The role involves leading the successful delivery of complex offshore wind wildlife monitoring projects from the tender phase through to commissioning and operational handover. The position combines project leadership, commercial responsibility, and technical delivery in the context of renewable energy and environmental protection.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in delivering complex technical projects, preferably in offshore wind or related industries.
• Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary technical projects.
• Strong stakeholder and client management skills.
• Commercial and contractual understanding.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from contract award to handover, managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks.
• Act as the primary contact for clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and delivery activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee supplier coordination, procurement, and critical project interfaces.
• Ensure successful integration, testing, commissioning, and customer acceptance of systems.

Skills

• Experience in managing installation, commissioning, and operational delivery projects.
• Technical understanding of sensors, monitoring systems, and industrial automation technologies.

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Marine Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or a related technical field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with EPC, EPIC, or EPCI delivery models and experience with FAT and SAT processes.
