Senior Product Manager (Fintech, Copenhagen)

Job summary

As a Senior Product Manager for Automatic Reconciliation, you will be responsible for developing a new product domain that integrates sales orders, payment processing, and financial accounting into a seamless flow. This role involves significant ownership and the opportunity to shape the product vision and roadmap based on customer needs and market trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in fintech, payments, or automated accounting software.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation logic, payment gateway flows, and the ecosystem surrounding webshops and POS systems.
• Highly analytical, with experience in using data to drive decisions related to revenue, retention, and operational risk.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision and 12-month roadmap for the automatic reconciliation engine.
• Lead the discovery and delivery of features that match sales orders, payment transactions, bank deposits, and accounting records.
• Collaborate with the Payments team to integrate automatic reconciliation into the payment solution, enhancing value for customers.
• Ensure compliance with EU financial and tax regulations, including multi-language and multi-currency support.
• Act as a liaison between engineering and commercial teams, balancing platform stability with feature delivery.

• Strong analytical skills and experience with data instrumentation.
• Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear narratives for stakeholders.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with PHP / Laravel for engineering collaboration.
