This role involves leading and shaping Procurement Excellence activities within a global medtech organization, focusing on category management and process improvement across various international teams.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in category management and procurement portfolio planning within large, international manufacturing companies.
  • Proven track record in project management and successful category management.
  • Strong experience in process and change management on a global scale.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Drive support for commercial procurement categories, including the development and implementation of category strategies.
  • Strengthen data foundations for informed decision-making through a data-driven approach.
  • Manage processes for project maturation and portfolio management.
  • Lead procurement development projects and ensure continuous improvement and documentation of processes.

Skills

  • Strategic mindset with experience in business case development.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex structures and build relationships across teams.
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management and Procurement for end-to-end initiative development.

Education

  • Relevant degree in a related field is preferred but not specified.

Tools

  • Familiarity with digital tools and analytics related to procurement and category management.
