Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (Remote)

Job summary

The Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer will manage the technical aspects of sales in the Nordic and Dutch markets, focusing on high-density AI and HPC scale-outs as well as hybrid-cloud solutions. This role involves acting as a technical advisor to customers and collaborating with sales teams and OEM partners.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and professionally fluent in English
• Over 5 years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, with at least 3 years in unstructured data storage
• Proficient in core operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix/BSD) and file/object protocols (NFS, SMB, S3)
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and relevant certifications are a plus
• Familiarity with the file and object storage market and its key players
• Proven consultative selling skills with a history of managing enterprise deals
• Willingness to travel 30-40% within the Nordics and Netherlands

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to design unstructured data solutions for enterprise clients
• Work independently and with OEM storage specialists to advance sales opportunities
• Conduct technical deep-dives and solution designs for various data management challenges
• Execute Proof of Concept deployments in both on-premises and cloud environments
• Develop technical proposals and responses to RFPs
• Analyze regional trends and contribute to case studies and technical documentation

• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a technical field preferred
