About the role

Job summary

The role involves advancing the technical capabilities of a case management platform for the public sector. The Senior Platform Engineer will design and operate cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, and security systems to support growth and enable AI features.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong experience with Azure and cloud-native platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, particularly AKS and cloud security.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform) and CI/CD using Azure DevOps or GitHub.

Responsibilities

  • Build and operate the cloud platform foundation for the case management system.
  • Manage and improve Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
  • Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.
  • Establish secure and scalable platform services, including networking and monitoring.
  • Enhance reliability through observability and incident management.
  • Support modernization efforts using cloud-native technologies and microservices architectures.

Skills

  • Experience with sovereign or highly regulated cloud environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with messaging technologies like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of identity management platforms such as Keycloak.
  • Experience with distributed systems and multi-region Kubernetes environments.
  • Exposure to AI infrastructure and intelligent automation is a plus.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

  • Technologies used include Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, GitOps, Azure DevOps, Grafana, Prometheus, and .NET (C#, TypeScript/JavaScript).
