Senior Planner (Life Science Construction)

Job summary

In the role of Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive project schedules that include all project milestones and timelines, utilizing critical path methodology. You will ensure clear ownership of project outcomes through Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and maintain adherence to project execution plans.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning and scheduling.
• Demonstrated expertise in quantitative risk assessment (QRA) with the ability to communicate findings effectively.
• Proficient in using Primavera P6 planning software.
• Degree or equivalent experience in project management or construction.
• Detail-oriented and focused on quality.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project schedules that encompass full scope and milestones.
• Define responsibilities and ownership for project outcomes using WBS methodology.
• Ensure schedules align with project execution plans, including contracting and procurement strategies.
• Establish methods for baselining schedules and manage updates periodically.
• Structure integrated project schedules for various levels of review.
• Negotiate timelines and interdependencies with key partners to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Provide regular updates on schedule progress and review external schedules for best practices.
