Senior Manager - Value Chain Policy

Job summary

This role involves leading and coordinating advocacy efforts related to value chain policy, focusing on trade policy, consumer electronics regulation, intellectual property rights, and ESG matters. The position requires collaboration across functions and geographies to navigate external policy developments and support effective advocacy.

Qualifications

• Strong policy expertise and sound judgment with the ability to engage with a diverse stakeholder landscape.
• Proven experience in a consultancy, multinational company, think tank, or public sector role.
• Solid understanding of trade policy and the consumer electronics sector.
• Experience in defining and coordinating advocacy on complex policy topics.
• Familiarity with intellectual property rights and brand protection priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across various functions and seniorities.
• Capability to lead peer-based working groups and drive independent progress.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate strategic advocacy on value chain policy issues.
• Act as the coordinator for advocacy on consumer electronics policy.
• Support the business in understanding trade policy issues, including export controls and sanctions.
• Serve as the point person for ESG-related matters and reporting tasks.
• Coordinate work on intellectual property rights and lead bi-monthly check-ins.
• Support foresight-related work through dashboards and impact analysis.
• Lead the internal Value Chain Policy Working Group and assess its structure and sub-groups.
• Act as a key contact for internal partners across various functions.

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate independently while fostering alignment across teams.
• Familiarity with geopolitical foresight tools and ESG-related policy topics is advantageous.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in policy, law, or a related field.

Tools

• Experience with Power BI and AI tools is a plus.
