Senior Manager, Tax Technology

Job summary

The Senior Manager, Tax Technology is responsible for leading clients through digital tax transformation by designing and implementing tax-enabled ERP solutions across various platforms including SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. This role involves integrating tax processes into global compliance models and advising on international e-invoicing and reporting mandates.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience in tax and technology, including VAT/GST advisory, ERP transformation, and transfer pricing.
• Proven experience in delivering tax-enabled ERP projects or digital tax compliance solutions.
• Strong understanding of indirect and direct taxes, as well as transfer pricing.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP tax design and implementation in SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, and D365.
• Advise on global e-invoicing and real-time reporting mandates across various countries.
• Integrate ERP systems with tax engines and compliance providers.
• Develop automation and analytics solutions for tax data visibility and control.
• Collaborate with client tax and finance leaders to embed tax processes into ERP systems.
• Mentor junior team members and support the growth of the Nordic Tax Technology team.
• Engage in business development and client relationship management.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, D365) and tax engines.

Education

• Relevant degree in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with tax compliance software and ERP systems.
