Senior Manager, Embedded Software (On-site, Ballerup)

Job summary

An experienced Embedded Software Manager is needed to lead a team of approximately 20 engineers in the R&D Headset department. This role involves managing the development of embedded software for advanced communication and music products, with a focus on Bluetooth and USB connectivity, audio management, and AI integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Proven experience in managing embedded software development teams
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, from concept to launch and maintenance
• Strong people leadership skills with the ability to manage larger teams
• Effective communication skills, capable of translating technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
• Understanding of wireless embedded chipsets, such as Qualcomm and Airoha

Responsibilities

• Oversee and develop an embedded software organization of around 20 engineers
• Foster a safe and motivating environment for team growth and performance
• Collaborate with APAC leadership to shape the organization within a global matrix setup
• Manage schedule, quality, and risk in partnership with Product Owners and the Quality team
• Facilitate technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
• Promote the adoption of new technologies, including AI for embedded software development
