Senior Machine Learning/AI Engineer (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves operating, hardening, and continuously improving the production infrastructure for AI features and related ML workloads. The engineer will work closely with ML and backend engineers to ensure reliable operations and effective incident response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as an MLOps or ML-savvy SRE/Platform Engineer supporting production-grade systems.
• Proficient in Python and frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows.
• Strong understanding of ML stacks and platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage the deployment lifecycle for AI features and the Peakon Agent.
• Provide operational support and tooling for ML engineers.
• Ensure monitoring, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements.
• Collaborate on automation of security upgrades for ML dependencies.

Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills under pressure.
• Knowledge of data science principles and ML algorithms.
• Experience in model-building processes and advanced fine-tuning techniques.
• Proficiency in System Design and Architectural Governance for high-availability ML models.

Education

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in relevant fields.
