Senior Lead Mechanical Engineer

Job summary

The role involves leading mechanical engineering projects in the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on providing top-tier consultancy from conceptual design to installation and commissioning. The position is based in Denmark, requiring on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in pressurized equipment, piping installations, and related challenges.
• Extensive knowledge of the PED pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU and standards EN13480 and EN13445.
• Familiarity with cGMP and experience in the process, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries.
• In-depth understanding of CE marking systems.
• A degree in mechanical engineering, machinist, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering tasks and projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Develop and standardize mechanical engineering systems, including technical directions for fabrication, installation, and testing.
• Collaborate with teams to create datasheets, specifications, and design setups for piping and tank/vessel packages.
• Support tendering and contract teams by identifying mechanical scopes for packages.
• Oversee installation completion and FAT/SAT activities, providing technical troubleshooting and support for design specifications.
