Senior IT Project Manager (Retail, Copenhagen)

Job summary

An experienced IT Project Manager is needed to lead the delivery of complex retail technology projects across the Nordics. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and customers in an international setting, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects.
• Proven track record in delivering complex projects in customer-facing environments.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with project financials and profitability management.
• Professional-level English communication skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of IT and retail projects.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project performance and ensure timely delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage project financials.
• Coordinate activities across software development and implementation teams.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Skills

• Experience in the retail industry, particularly with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of retail technology solutions and software implementation.
• Strong presentation and customer engagement skills.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in project management or related field.

Tools

• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
