Senior Hardware Test Engineer

Job summary

The role involves leading the design and execution of complex test activities for robotics products, ensuring they meet high standards through comprehensive testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or robotics engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in root-cause analysis.
• Ability to guide and collaborate with colleagues positively.
• Structured mindset with a focus on high-quality documentation.
• Strong communication skills in English; Danish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex test activities and ensure relevant test coverage.
• Select appropriate test methods and define sample sizes with project teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Ensure accurate and traceable test results are documented.
• Act as a Point Team Contact for project teams and align testing with development activities.
• Drive root-cause analysis with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for improving test methods and processes.

Skills

• Experience with data acquisition and sensors (temperature, humidity, etc.).
• Familiarity with data management and analysis tools like JIRA, Power BI, MATLAB, LABVIEW, or JMP.
• Knowledge of drivetrains, motors, and testing methodologies.
• Experience with environmental testing (climate, EMC, IP testing).
• Understanding of ISO 17025 and equipment management.

Education

• Relevant degree in mechanical, electrical, or robotics engineering is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools used in engineering.
