Job summary

This role involves transforming player and product data into actionable insights to enhance player experience, engagement, retention, and monetization in the gaming industry. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to lead analytical projects and provide data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in gaming, online entertainment, betting, or a high-volume digital product environment.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience with large-scale datasets.
  • Strong understanding of gaming metrics such as DAU/MAU, retention, churn, and LTV.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses like Amazon Redshift or Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze player behavior across the entire lifecycle, including acquisition and retention.
  • Identify opportunities and risks through various analytical methods.
  • Design and evaluate A/B tests and experiments.
  • Measure the performance of game features and campaigns.
  • Build dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
  • Investigate changes in KPIs and their business impact.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define analytical requirements.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Education

  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred, with published research in an SCI-indexed journal being a plus.

  • Python, SQL, Tableau/Power BI/Looker/Apache Superset.
