Senior Financial Controller (Manufacturing, Alytus/Remote)

Job summary

An experienced Senior Financial Controller is sought to manage the finance function for a manufacturing entity, transitioning from an external accounting provider to in-house operations. This role involves significant responsibilities in financial operations and compliance within an international context.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, or economics; audit experience from a Big 4 or strong mid-tier firm is preferred.
• Chief accountant or certified auditor credentials are advantageous.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in manufacturing or international settings.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian tax legislation and LFAS.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably having completed at least one migration.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power Query and BI tools.
• Professional proficiency in Lithuanian and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage full general ledger and monthly close for the entity for group reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Lithuanian tax regulations and statutory reporting.
• Prepare annual financial statements under LFAS.
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing for approximately 100 employees.
• Participate actively in the ongoing IFS Cloud ERP migration across the organization.
• Report directly to the Group CFO.

Skills

Location and Setup

The role is based in Alytus, with options to work from Vilnius or hybrid arrangements. Candidates from Denmark may also work from the Danish headquarters.

Compensation

Gross monthly salary ranges from EUR 3,500 to EUR 5,500, depending on location and experience, with additional responsibilities and exposure to broader finance transformation initiatives.
