Job summary

The role involves developing, designing, and prototyping advanced hardware and software solutions for communication systems, specifically in the context of audio engineering. You will serve as a critical link to customers, ensuring effective interaction between equipment and users' devices in the field.

Qualifications

  • Educational background as an Electronics/Electrical Technician or related field
  • Practical skills in soldering to IPC Class 2 or equivalent standards
  • Experience in assembling, testing, and troubleshooting physical cables and small electronic assemblies
  • Ability to read and create basic electrical documentation, including wiring tables and simple schematics
  • Effective communication skills and fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate prototype analogue/digital communication systems
  • Develop connection and wiring documentation for these systems
  • Build, test, and debug prototype cables and assemblies
  • Adjust and verify audio settings and profiles through software
  • Document work, test results, and handover information

Skills

  • Experience with audio electronics (e.g., microphones, headsets)
  • Familiarity with tactical radios and intercom systems
  • Knowledge of EMC design and best practices
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 or similar standards

Education

  • Relevant technical education in electronics or electrical engineering

Tools

  • Prototyping tools and software for audio communication systems
