Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, Esbjerg or Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves leading the design of electrical systems for future green energy projects, focusing on high, medium, and low voltage systems. The position is based in Esbjerg or Copenhagen, Denmark, and requires collaboration within a team dedicated to innovative energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (elinstallatør), Marine Engineer (Maskinmester), B.Sc./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, preferably in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering scope in large multidisciplinary projects and smaller specialized projects from early development to construction.
• Design, develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Provide input for procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning processes.
