Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, Esbjerg or Copenhagen)

Job summary

This role involves leading the electrical engineering scope for various projects focused on green energy systems. The position is part of a team specializing in high, medium, and low voltage systems, contributing to the design and optimization of electrical solutions.

Qualifications

• Background as a Certified Electrician, Marine Engineer, or a degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc./B.Eng. or M.Sc.)
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, ideally in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specifications.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering tasks in large and small projects from early development to construction.
• Design and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including transformers and switchgear.
• Engage with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities.

• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Education

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
