Senior Electrical Engineer (Energy, Esbjerg or Copenhagen)

Job summary

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will contribute to the design of innovative green energy systems within a collaborative team environment. Your role will involve leading electrical engineering efforts on various projects, ensuring the development of sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician (elinstallatør), Marine Engineer (Maskinmester), B.Sc./B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• Proven experience in designing electrical systems, preferably in power plants, district heating, or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of MV and LV design and specification of related equipment.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering scope in large multidisciplinary projects and smaller specialized projects from early development to construction.
• Design, develop, optimize, and standardize technical solutions for MV and LV systems.
• Create engineering specifications and technical datasheets for electrical equipment, including power transformers and switchgear.
• Collaborate with procurement and manage technical clarifications with vendors.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning processes.

Education

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.

Tools

• Familiarity with engineering design software and tools relevant to electrical systems.
