Senior Director – Group Finance (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves leading and developing the Group Finance function within a global finance organization, managing a team of over 50 employees and 6-7 direct reports. The position focuses on driving financial excellence, process optimization, and operational scalability during a phase of organizational growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams in international settings
• Experience with organizational restructuring and transformation
• Background in digital/media/tech or gambling/betting sectors
• Familiarity with venture-backed companies, SMEs, and publicly listed organizations
• Experience in high-volume acquisition environments and M&A processes
• Expertise in process development and operational scalability
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group Finance function and manage cross-border teams
• Oversee operational execution and strategic development of Financial Shared Services
• Ensure timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting
• Drive process development and standardization across finance operations
• Support organizational transformation and restructuring initiatives
• Contribute to M&A activities and post-acquisition finance processes
• Collaborate with senior leadership to enhance financial decision-making
