Job summary

An experienced Desk Quant is sought to shape pricing, risk, and data solutions within a financial markets environment. This role involves collaboration with traders, sales, and model developers to deliver high-quality quantitative tools and workflows.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience in quantitative development, desk quant work, pricing, risk, and financial products
  • Strong programming skills, particularly in Python; knowledge of Kotlin or Java is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across quantitative, business, and technology teams

Responsibilities

  • Own and enhance key pricing, risk, and data solutions for Markets Trading and Sales
  • Support and improve existing tools and processes to ensure operational reliability
  • Design and develop quantitative tools and workflows, contributing to technical and architectural decisions
  • Collaborate closely with traders, sales, model developers, and technology teams to translate business needs into scalable solutions

Skills

  • Experience using AI for development is advantageous
  • Familiarity with curve construction or model calibration is preferred
  • Experience with internal quant tools such as quantum, ORCA-python, TRAC, or Infinity is beneficial

Education

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field is required

Tools

  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Kotlin/Java; experience with quantitative tools and internal quant tooling is a plus.
