Senior Data Platform Engineer

Job summary

This role involves designing, building, and operating scalable data platform services and backend systems to support a large-scale advertising ecosystem and internal services. The position requires collaboration with various teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing, building, and operating distributed systems or data platforms in production environments.
• Strong backend and systems engineering skills, including service and API design, debugging, and production operations.
• Understanding of distributed systems fundamentals such as scalability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
• Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure, container orchestration, CI/CD, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable platform services and self-service tools for internal users.
• Work with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create reusable and secure solutions.

Skills

• Experience with data-intensive platforms, including pipelines and analytics infrastructure.
• Knowledge of privacy, security, and compliance in large-scale environments.
• Experience with AI or agentic tooling in engineering workflows.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools
