Senior Data Engineer

Job summary

The role involves joining a Data Insights team within the Audiological Solutions group, focusing on enhancing data-driven development for audiological features. Responsibilities

• Partner with developers, researchers, and product stakeholders to leverage data for improved outcomes.
• Ensure access to well-structured and documented data.
• Provide training and mentoring for self-service data usage.
• Act as Lead Developer for data engineering initiatives, shaping data architecture and governance standards.
• Design and maintain data pipelines, datasets, dashboards, and developer tools.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and data quality practices.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with data modeling (e.g., medallion architecture, star schema).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows and Databricks is advantageous.
• Knowledge of testing and monitoring frameworks, and familiarity with Generative AI or LLM-based applications is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Education

• M.Sc. in Engineering or related fields, focusing on data engineering, data science, or machine learning.

Tools

• Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks, including Databricks and data quality monitoring tools.
