Senior Data Analytics Engineer

Job summary

The role involves translating business needs into data solutions and developing data products that drive business value in the Drug Development Domain. The position is based in Hellerup, Denmark, and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic degree, preferably a Master’s in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics.
• Proven experience in gathering and transforming business requirements into data products.

Responsibilities

• Understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Design and develop data products that drive business value and decisions.
• Explore and transform complex data into insights with fit-for-purpose analytics.
• Collaborate across teams to build end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure data products align with data governance, compliance, and quality standards.

Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with DevOps, Databricks, dbt, Python, and T-SQL.
• Experience in designing and delivering solutions using Power BI or similar BI platforms.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and compliance.
• Ability to understand business data and processes and create rapid prototypes.
• Pharma domain knowledge is a plus.

Education

• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Databricks, dbt, Python, T-SQL, Power BI.
