Senior Cyber Security Architect

Job summary

This role involves defining and maintaining the security architecture for technology and AI platforms in a leading biotech company. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure security principles are effectively integrated into cloud, M365, and AI environments.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in security architecture or a senior technical security role, preferably in a cloud-first environment.
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, including data classification, sensitivity labeling, DLP policies, and information protection across M365.
• Strong skills in cloud security architecture, particularly with Microsoft Azure/M365 security tooling.
• Knowledge of AI platform security, including guardrails for large language model deployments and agentic AI architectures.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO, NIST CSF, and MITRE ATT&CK.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architecture principles and standards for cloud, M365, AI platforms, and application development.
• Own the security configuration and architecture of Microsoft Purview, driving organization-wide adoption.
• Lead security architecture for Claude Enterprise and agentic AI landscape, defining authentication and access protocols.
• Embed security into the Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) and review architectures for new systems.
• Advise on identity and access management and collaborate on detection architecture and threat modeling.

Skills

• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to balance security rigor with practical implementation to ensure architecture is adopted.
• Curiosity about emerging threats and technologies, particularly in AI.

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.

Tools

• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and cloud security tools, as well as AI tools and services.
