Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Cost Manager, preferably in a consultancy setting.
• Background in pre-contract cost management, budget control, and cost planning.
• Chartered status or in the process of obtaining it; support for completion is available.
• Degree or equivalent experience in project management or construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the tender/bid process from documentation to analysis and reporting.
• Manage change processes affecting project costs, including analysis and implementation.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure value for money for clients.
• Assist in preparing final accounts and handling claims to maximize client value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for client developments.
• Oversee project spending through valuations and cost reports, communicating variations clearly.
• Support project management with timely cost documentation and communication.
• Aid in settling construction disputes and claims transparently.
• Mentor and lead team members to foster performance and growth.

Education
