Senior Compliance Manager (Finance and Sustainability, Søborg)

Job summary

This role is pivotal at the intersection of financial reporting, sustainability reporting, and regulatory compliance within a global organization. The Senior Compliance Manager will oversee the Group's sustainability statement and play a significant role in the annual report process, ensuring compliance with IFRS, CSRD, and EU Taxonomy.

Qualifications

• Strong finance background with experience in sustainability reporting
• Hands-on experience with CSRD implementation and preparation of sustainability and financial statements
• Relevant academic qualifications, ideally cand.merc.aud. or State Authorised Public Accountant
• Over 10 years of professional experience
• Full professional proficiency in English with excellent written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own and develop content for the Group’s sustainability statement
• Drive the annual report process, coordinating across functions and developing key content sections
• Lead the audit and assurance process related to the sustainability statement
• Act as the internal subject matter expert on CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy
• Collaborate closely with the ESG Controlling team on accounting policies and sustainability metrics
• Support the Group’s double materiality assessment process
• Advise the Group’s sustainability leadership forum
