Job summary

The Senior Compliance Counsel will oversee global compliance monitoring and third-party due diligence within a regulated international framework. This role involves enhancing the global compliance framework, including audits, due diligence, and sanctions programs, while collaborating with senior leadership across various functions.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in law, finance/accounting, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in global corporate compliance, internal audit, or a similar role, preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills for managing complex compliance programs
  • Proven experience in driving global compliance processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Lead global compliance monitoring and audits of third parties and engagements with restricted parties
  • Develop and manage the global third-party due diligence framework
  • Oversee the speak-up framework, including case management and follow-up
  • Manage the global sanctions and export controls program, including risk assessments and stakeholder alignment
  • Draft and maintain compliance policies and procedures
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management

  • Ability to thrive at the intersection of governance, risk, and collaboration

Education

  • Master’s degree in law, finance/accounting, or a related field
