Job summary

The role involves supporting the global privacy team by integrating privacy practices into daily business operations and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in data privacy, ideally within a global organization.
• Strong understanding of GDPR and privacy risk management; familiarity with other privacy frameworks is advantageous.
• Pragmatic approach to translating regulations into actionable business guidance.
• Experience with GRC software, such as OneTrust, is a plus.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in project teams.
• Effective communication skills to convey issues and solutions to stakeholders.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented mindset with appreciation for diverse perspectives.
• CIPP/E, CIPP/M, CIPP/T, AIGP, or similar certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot or ChatGPT is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily privacy operations including vendor assessments, advisory roles, and handling privacy-related inquiries.
• Serve as the first point of contact for data subject requests and complaints.
• Act as a trusted advisor on privacy matters for various business teams.
• Review and audit privacy initiatives for compliance and consistency.
• Maintain and update privacy documentation and training materials.
• Assist in assessing and managing data breaches.
• Stay informed on regulatory changes and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Identify process improvement opportunities in collaboration with senior privacy colleagues.
• Monitor retention schedules and deletion protocols across departments.
