Senior Commercial & Operations Consultant

Job summary

The role involves providing operational leadership and commercial expertise in the renewable energy sector, focusing on asset management and client support. The consultant will work collaboratively across teams to enhance operational performance and manage key agreements.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Operations and Asset Management within the energy industry.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing O&M contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen in dealing with OEMs and procurement teams.
• Relevant degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Ability to synthesize complex problems and adapt quickly.
• Experience in management consulting or large-scale energy projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Asset and Operations Managers to meet business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives for performance enhancement.
• Lead operational readiness for new projects.
• Manage improvement projects for existing assets.
• Work with regional teams and partners to refine operational processes.
• Drive business growth through new service offerings.
• Oversee warranty and claims management activities.
• Support O&M procurement and contract negotiations.
• Travel as necessary to support projects and business development.

Skills

• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Structured problem-solving approach with initiative.
• Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
• Collaborative mindset suited for cross-functional teams.

Education

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry knowledge.
