Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job summary

The role involves maintaining and enhancing the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud infrastructure across multiple providers, including AWS, GCP, and Azure. This position is crucial for redistributing workload within the team and supporting strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Expertise in Terraform and hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of infrastructure and services.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Terragrunt).
• Define service level objectives and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
• Apply cloud security best practices and support compliance audits.
• Improve enterprise-grade networking and connectivity across cloud providers.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, document infrastructure, and mentor peers.

Skills

• Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Knowledge of SQL databases and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Education

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Tools

• Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
• IaC & automation tools: Terraform, GitHub Actions.
• Observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Networking tools: VPC, Transit Gateway, Cloudflare.
