Job summary

An experienced business development leader is sought to drive growth in the Nordic region, focusing on Denmark's defence sector while also engaging with Norway, Sweden, and Finland. The role requires a candidate with strong knowledge of Nordic defence procurement and maritime operations, who will help shape regional strategies and build relationships with defence stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Relations, Political Science, Engineering, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in business development, defence sales, or government engagement within the Nordic defence ecosystem.
  • Strong understanding of Nordic defence procurement organizations and acquisition processes.
  • Knowledge of naval operations, maritime security, and autonomous systems.
  • Proven ability to build partnerships across government and industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region and to the company's headquarters.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain relevant national security clearances.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop opportunities across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and Finland, focusing on Danish Defence priorities.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with regional defence initiatives and NATO objectives.
  • Drive business development lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award.
  • Build relationships with key defence and government stakeholders.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis in the Nordic maritime and defence sectors.
  • Help establish scalable business development processes and customer engagement frameworks.

Skills

  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in a collaborative environment.
  • Proficient in market intelligence and strategic insights.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Tools

  • Familiarity with defence procurement processes and maritime technology.
