Senior Automation & Electrical Bid Engineer

Job summary

The role involves developing competitive and technically robust automation and electrical solutions, bridging sales, solution engineering, and project execution. Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in automation and electrical engineering, including bid/proposal work and technical sales support
• Proven experience in developing technical solutions, cost estimates, and supporting documentation for industrial projects
• Solid understanding of PLC/SCADA systems, electrical design, and system integration across disciplines
• Familiarity with international standards (IEC, EN, ISO, ATEX is a plus)
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support automation and electrical scope in quotations, including cost calculations and technical solutions
• Define automation and electrical system concepts aligned with customer requirements
• Act as a key interface between Solution Engineering, Automation & Commissioning, Sales, and Procurement
• Contribute to risk assessment, cost optimization, and technical quality during the bid phase
• Support project execution with engineering activities such as control panel design and documentation updates
• Ensure effective handover from bid phase to execution within the organization
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and standard solutions
