Job summary

The role involves joining the Private Debt team in Copenhagen, focusing on the management and oversight of direct lending investments across various capital structures in private equity-backed transactions throughout the Nordics, Benelux, and DACH regions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor existing portfolio investments, conducting company research and analysis to identify potential credit events early.
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for the Investment Committee regarding current portfolio investments.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for portfolio investments.
  • Enhance and manage portfolio monitoring tools and data infrastructure.
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks related to portfolio monitoring and investor inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field with strong academic performance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in leveraged finance, direct investments, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or similar fields.
  • Strong analytical and modeling capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, along with experience in Python and SQL.
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and ambitious approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one Nordic language.
