Senior Associate, Asset Management (Renewable Energy, Copenhagen)

Job summary

This full-time position involves managing and optimizing a portfolio of renewable energy and infrastructure assets, focusing on delivering high returns while ensuring sustainability. The role provides an opportunity to develop skills in asset valuation, financial modeling, and commercial analysis within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant post-graduate experience in private equity, principal investments, infrastructure/energy, or corporate finance.
• Strong skills in valuation, financial modeling, and analysis, with proficiency in PowerPoint for presentations.
• Familiarity with US tax equity and structuring is advantageous.
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven capability to work independently and manage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist managers and directors with asset performance analysis and decision-making materials.
• Oversee asset and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
• Conduct analytical tasks related to asset management, including valuations and performance tracking.
• Evaluate improvement initiatives from various perspectives (commercial, financial, legal, technical).
• Engage with asset operating managers and participate in relevant meetings.
• Prepare and update asset dashboards, analyses, presentations, and risk registers.
• Coordinate with third-party advisers and contribute to internal business development projects.
• Travel may be required up to five days per year.
