Senior Android Engineer

Job summary

A Nordic challenger bank is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join their team in Aarhus. The role involves building and enhancing a user-friendly app that helps customers manage their finances using modern Android technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy features in a Jetpack Compose application, overseeing the process from initial commit to production.
• Design user interfaces in collaboration with the design team, utilizing a comprehensive design system.
• Utilize a modern Kotlin stack, including Coroutines, Flow, Hilt, Room, and Retrofit, within a large codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including iOS, Backend, and Web engineers, as well as Product and Design teams.
• Embrace an iterative approach to development, learning from failures to enhance progress.
• Engage with AI tools and practices in the coding process.

Skills

• Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Android development practices.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.

Education

• Relevant experience in software engineering or a related field is preferred.
