Senior Accountant (Fully Remote)

Job summary

This role involves managing operational finance activities across multiple international entities within a global SaaS environment. The Senior Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance and timely financial reporting. The position requires collaboration with senior finance leadership and offers exposure to international accounting standards and complex financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with NetSuite.
• Strong experience in end-to-end accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, payroll, tax, and audit processes.
• Professional fluency in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities across multiple entities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, revenue recognition, billing, and tax-related activities.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare financial reporting and support group-level consolidation.
• Lead the preparation of annual financial statements and audits.
• Support international tax matters and intercompany transactions.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting policies and internal controls.
