Job summary

This role involves serving as the primary solutions provider for diagnostic applications within a designated territory, focusing on customer needs and market growth. The position requires strategic planning and collaboration with internal teams and distribution partners to enhance account growth and market presence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (biology, biochemistry, immunology, or molecular biology).
  • Over 5 years of commercial experience in the Life Sciences sector, with familiarity in magnetic beads, lateral flow, membrane-based applications, or Next Generation Sequencing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a territory plan to drive account growth and market expansion.
  • Manage sales forecasting and pipeline in CRM, ensuring achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including lead generation and complex deal negotiations.
  • Collaborate with customer R&D and internal teams to provide tailored solutions for customer success.

Skills

  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
  • Proficient analytical skills and experience with sales tools like Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations and training.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a Master’s or Ph.D. is a plus.

Tools

  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com and QlikSense is advantageous.
