Sales Market Controller (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role focuses on maximizing profitable sales through effective budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking across both store and e-commerce channels. The position involves providing financial insights and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment and transparency in financial processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• 3-5+ years of experience in financial controlling, planning, or FP&A; experience in retail or multi-channel is advantageous
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and seasonality
• Proficient in P&L management, OPEX control, and forecasting
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial planning/BI tools (Power BI, ERP systems)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor sales budgets, forecasts, and plans for store and e-commerce channels
• Analyze sales trends and update sales forecasts accordingly
• Collaborate with the Commercial team on the QCP process to ensure alignment with sales planning
• Provide financial insights to support commercial decisions and enhance operational efficiency
• Create transparency regarding cost impacts and support ROI evaluations for initiatives
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and internal processes
• Assist Sales Market leadership with financial evaluations and scenario analysis

Education

• A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar field is required.

Tools

• Proficient in MS Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.
