Job summary

This role involves driving sales growth in the Spanish and Portuguese markets, fostering client relationships, and supporting the expansion of Nordic destinations. The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B travel sales, ideally in tourism, DMC, tour operator, or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the Nordic travel market and destinations.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish and Portuguese travel trade landscape.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience in managing key accounts.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record of revenue growth.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Spain, Portugal, and the Nordics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies for Spain and Portugal.
  • Achieve sales targets, revenue budgets, and KPIs.
  • Generate new business through networking, trade fairs, and sales visits.
  • Manage and grow key accounts.
  • Build relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, and other partners.
  • Identify market trends to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Contracting teams for competitive offerings.
  • Maintain client information in the CRM system.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and training.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide market intelligence.
  • Assist in forecasting and budget planning.

  • Ability to identify market trends and commercial opportunities.

Education

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
