About the role

Job summary

This role involves supporting the internal sales function through sales order processing and providing accurate quotations. The Sales Coordinator is responsible for daily order loading and quote activities, ensuring timely resolution of customer queries, and developing strong relationships with the internal sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily order loading and quote activities, including electronic order processing.
  • Support all aspects of sales activities to help meet team and company targets.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet agreed deadlines or service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring early resolution.
  • Escalate issues promptly to the Sales Operations Team Leader or Manager.
  • Work proactively to support the business, including working a shift pattern as required.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Process-driven and results-oriented.
  • Customer-focused with excellent organization skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization abilities.
  • Numerate with excellent communication and customer relations skills.

Skills

  • Proficiency in SAP R3 (preferable).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

  • Relevant experience in sales coordination or a related field is preferred.
