Job summary

The Sales & Product Manager for Food & Nutrition will focus on the confectionary, bakery, and beverage segments, aiming to maintain and grow sales while managing a specific product portfolio. This role requires frequent travel across the Nordic region to engage with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of commercial experience in sales or product management within the food and nutrition sectors, particularly in confectionary, bakery, or beverage ingredients.
  • Strong understanding of the Nordic Food & Nutrition markets.
  • Experience in cross-functional roles within international or matrix organizations.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in food technology or a related field is advantageous but relevant experience is also valued.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a growing customer base through field visits and relationship building.
  • Analyze market and competitor insights to inform company strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events and build a professional network.
  • Align with principal strategies to create effective marketing plans.
  • Strengthen relationships with principals to secure and expand business opportunities.
  • Serve as a technical resource for commercial teams, translating complex information into actionable insights.
  • Create compelling value propositions to support the sales force and drive new projects.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to keep strategies relevant.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English and Swedish.
  • Proficient with technology and software, including Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in food technology or equivalent experience preferred.
