Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, ideally in EdTech, STEM Publishing, or SaaS.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both in-person and online.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, focusing on growth in the specified regions.
  • Achieve or surpass new business sales targets.
  • Generate and progress sales opportunities through the pipeline to meet quarterly goals.
  • Conduct outreach and schedule meetings and product demonstrations to qualify new business leads.
  • Present products to researchers, faculty, and librarians, both online and in-person.
  • Utilize industry trends to create effective account strategies that enhance sales performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and contribute to team projects.
  • Participate in trade shows and marketing activities.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to build confidence with clients and product users.
