Research Assistant (Sustainable Energy Solutions)

Job summary

This position is for a 12-month research assistant role focused on the development of biomass-derived supercapacitors for Internet of Things (IoT) applications. The role is part of the 3D VOLT project, which aims to transition patented technology from laboratory studies to commercially viable products. The position offers a chance to work in an interdisciplinary research environment dedicated to sustainable energy storage solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with electrochemistry
• Proficiency in wet chemistry lab work
• Strong communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Fabricate carbon electrodes using patented technology
• Support automation processes for scaling up electrode fabrication
• Assist in prototyping and evaluating the performance of biomass-derived supercapacitors

Skills

• Experience in electrochemistry and laboratory techniques
• Ability to work collaboratively in a research setting

Education
