Regulatory Business Analyst (Copenhagen)

Job summary

The role involves supporting the development and maintenance of regulatory solutions to ensure compliance and informed decision-making within the organization. The Regulatory Analyst will work on optimizing regulatory frameworks and metrics, ensuring accurate reporting, and collaborating with various departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in regulatory analysis, risk or compliance reporting, or financial regulation.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reporting (e.g., FINREP, COREP, LCR, ALMM, NSFR) is advantageous.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with data and reporting tools such as SQL or Python.
• Understanding of data models, quality controls, and documentation standards.
• Strong grasp of financial statements and regulatory reporting concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal regulatory frameworks and metrics for decision-making and compliance.
• Design and improve regulatory solutions for stakeholders across the organization.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of regulatory data through robust controls and analyses.
• Investigate discrepancies in regulatory data and collaborate with relevant functions to resolve issues.
• Translate complex regulatory requirements into practical processes and system solutions.
• Support assessments of new regulations on products and business models, contributing to implementation of regulatory initiatives.
