Job summary

The role involves working on the integration of components for a topological quantum computer, focusing on circuit design, simulation, and hands-on system integration in a research environment. The position requires collaboration across various teams to develop and validate RF and electronic components in both room-temperature and cryogenic systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, with significant industry or research experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical engineering design principles.
  • Experience with RF/Microwave, EM, and circuit simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, Cadence).
  • Proficiency in measurements using VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, and Oscilloscopes.
  • Programming skills in Python.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cryogenic electrical characterization of quantum materials and devices at millikelvin temperatures.
  • Develop novel measurement techniques for topological qubit systems.
  • Conduct large-scale experimental campaigns, including data acquisition and statistical analysis.
  • Translate experimental data into insights for materials selection and device design.
  • Provide technical leadership for next-generation quantum architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate project progress.
  • Communicate complex results to diverse audiences.

Skills

  • Experience with low-noise electronic measurements and cryogenic techniques.
  • Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design and digital signal processing.
  • Ability to work in an AI-first environment and leverage AI tools for innovation.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field.
