Project Manager (On-site)

Job summary

The role involves overseeing the complete verification lifecycle of prototype wind turbines, ensuring they are thoroughly tested and ready for manufacturing. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with design, testing, and operations teams to enhance performance and quality while managing project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (Maritime, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years of project management experience in technical or operational settings
• Comfortable working on-site at construction or test locations
• Effective communication skills with technicians, engineers, suppliers, and senior leadership
• Proficient in SAP PPM, Power BI, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end verification of prototype turbines, focusing on new technologies and quality enhancements
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to utilize prototype turbines and test facilities
• Oversee project budgeting and financial tracking using SAP, planning in MS Project, and reporting via Power BI
• Maintain transparency through structured use of project management tools
• Act as the main contact for long-term planning with designers and manage day-to-day operations
• Lead cross-functional project teams and improve project management processes
